Trauma is an cross-platform indie game available from Krystian Majewski which is delivered via multiple methods. How can I install the Linux version on Fedora and run it successfully?

First get the game. Of the methods available, grabbing the RPM file is probably the easiest way to run it on Fedora. As of 4 October 2011, the Linux versions available from the 'Humble Bundle' consists of a 32-bit RPM file. Download it.

To install, we may have to ask Fedora to ignore dependencies for now. Open a terminal where you had downloaded the RPM file. Assuming the downloaded file is named 'trauma_1_i386.rpm', then,

su -c "rpm -ivh --nodeps trauma_1_i386.rpm"

When you try to run the game, it might complain about a missing 'libpcre.so.3'. To workaround,

$ su -c "ln -s /lib/libpcre.so.0.0.1 /lib/libpcre.so.3"

By default the game binary installs into /opt/TRAUMA/trauma. You can launch the game using the Games menu or launch it from a terminal. Now launch the game and enjoy.

Simply download the .tar.gz, extract it and open trauma.html with your browser. No need to install anything as even a flashplayer is delivered with the package.
