I've been using F16 verne since pre-beta, i've had no issue with the Firewall GUI,what so ever, but after an update or so , i get this error.

screen-shot of Firewall GUI

i've dug out some-relevant error messages from xsessions-error, i don't have any idea what these mean , hope these would be useful.

/usr/share/system-config-firewall/fw_gui.py:1814: GtkWarning: Failed to set text from markup due to error parsing markup: Error on line 6 char 10: Element 'markup' was closed, but the currently open element is 'string'

dialog.format_secondary_markup(msg) /usr/share/system-config-firewall/fw_gui.py:2329: GtkWarning: Failed to set text from markup due to error parsing markup: Error on line 6 char 10: Element 'markup' was closed, but the currently open element is 'string' dialog.show_all()

is this a bug or i screwed up?

I would think that you might be able to fix it with an uninstall of the GUI with yum remove system-config-firewall and then reinstall using yum install system-config-firewall.

I updated it several times(may be 5-6 times),it resolved itself, I still have no idea why that error occurred and how it got corrected,if anyone has better answer/explanation please answer, otherwise i will accept this answer or the previous one (both are dumb!),please let knowledge and reason win over ignorance, here is your chance!
