I am using Fedora14 and whenever I resume back from hibernation, I am unable to mount any of my drives and it does play any sound.I checked with alsamixer and got to know that after resuming back it is unable to detect the sound device. How to resolve the problem?

As per https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=636214 the following should fix your sound issue.

# yum remove pulseaudio alsa-plugins-pulseaudio

Please observe that the above bugzilla is still in ASSIGNED state.

And, for your mounting issues, could you please tell us which filesystem you have and what error you see in /var/log/messages or on the terminal.
