Boot the live cd, give it some time to bring up the desktop and try to hit the increase brightness of you keyboard a couple of times.

It will not solve your problem, but if it works it means the brightness control is ok, the display is just with zero brightness. Then, you can apply this workaround: http://ask.fedoraproject.org/question/116/where-in-systemd-to-put-an-initialization-hack

Thank you all for your answers.

Yes, problem with the video driver.

I use basic video driver for booting, it works. But if I update Fedora from liveCD, it will start with a basic video driver?

And how can I install the driver for my video card, after upgrade? After booting from the liveCD screen resolution only 1024x768.

If you install Fedora in your hard drive, then you can try and go with RPM fusion repo to search your video drivers. But afraid if you are using livecd to boot, that option doesn't stand feasible. In that case you can file a bug report in bugzilla with your system details.

why don't you boot with [xdriver=vesa] , then install your F14 in the box (though I recommend F16, as it has many changes from that of F14). After doing that install RPM Fusion repo and download the respective video driver for your card. Are you facing problem in above procedure also ?

Check the bug filed here -

Try whatever suggestions and support is provided in Comment 1 of the bug

You can also see how to boot using [xdriver=vesa] in this link below -

There may be a problem with the video driver.
